I'm Back!

OMG! It's been a year since I last blogged here. For some reason, I wasn't able to view my Xanga posts so I stopped blogging here. About a month ago, I had my laptop fixed and now I can view them again. Woohoo! So I think I'll be blogging here again. :)

Also, I'm pretty excited about our Timmies Christmas party on Wednesday. Yes, early Christmas party huh? I'll probably go with Uday and Toots. It's gonna be in Mandarin, so hello buffet!!! Heehee. I'm exciteddd.

And before I forget, today is Trini's birthday, so happy birthday (again) :)

So there, I have to go cause I need to do my homework for my online class. Byeee!

Oh Flash Player

For some reason, I can't watch videos on Youtube, I can't listen to them songs on iMeem and I can't view those stuff that requires me to have the Flash Player.

Probably around three weeks ago, I visited a site that said I need to install the latest version of the Flash Player. So due to my ignorance, I clicked the link that went to the Adobe/Macromedia Flash Player installation page. I "installed" the "latest" version of flash player. However, the "your installation is complete" sign did not appear but the some sort of error thingy appeared. Then came, the I-can't-view-the-flash-player-thingies saga. It's extremely annoying and frustrating. I think there is a solution to the problem that I saw from the Adobe/Macromedia site, I just can't find it again.

Oh well. :(

Good thing my mother's making spaghetti for dinner tonight. A reason for me to be happy :)

Oh hello Xanga. Como estas?

I've been busy these past few weeks because of the Tim Hortons part time job, the volunteer work and the training; and I was too lazy to update my blogs. All I do when I go online is talk to my friends back home--the Philippines.. and oh check my mails and check my social networking accounts and such, but not to update any of my blogs. I even got some pics to upload on my multiply account.

Two or three(?) weeks from now, summer is gonna be officially over. Here comes the fall. I'm sad cause fall/autumn is my least favourite season, i dunno i think it's a lame season, haha. This also means, goodbye to my flipflops for now :(.

Edit - Ohh yeah I just remembered. Today is the anniversary of the Sept. 11 US attacks.

I'm listening to the free song I just got from the David Crowder Band's website. Go to their website to get the free song too, wooo. Oh and, they're gonna be releasing their Live CD/DVD thingy on the 19th and I'm not sure if it's gonna be released here in Canada too. I really hope so, cause I want to have a copy and I'd be really really happy if they're gonna release it here. Chyeaaa.

I extremely dislike making essays, summaries and the like. I'd rather solve math problems all day than to construct some weird sentences. Right now, I have to do a summary about John Bunyan's life. Just a short summary, but still I have to make sure that people would understand it. Well, whatev. I'll just do my very best i guess.

Anyway, feel like editing my online stuff. I'm talking about them twitter and blogs. Thank God for Photobucket's cool "editing" feature, that eventho I don't have the photoshop, I can still create some awesome backgrounds for my online stuff. Chyea!

No, I did not abandon my Xanga. It's just that these past days I've been using my laptop instead of the desktop; and for some reason, I cannot view my Xanga entries using my laptop. Probably it's because the laptop is still connected to my former school, the profile and all. I remember mentioning before that I can't view my Xanga entries using the computers of my former school or the laptops connected to them. I dunno probably they blocked Xanga or something.

Oh, I've got a new "like interest". He's my friend's friend. LOL. I'm happy. Haha.

Bye. Have to get up at 6 AM. Boo.

Happy Canada Day, Canada people!!!

Worked from 7am til noon. I was supposed to work til 3 but thank God the manager let me go home at noon for I was tired.. cause I worked til 10 pm last night.

After work, I took a 3 hour nap.

After nap, I had dinner.

After dinner, we went to Lakeshore, around 6, to see some fireworks. We walked, sat and such. We didn't bother to wait for the fireworks because it won't start til 10, so we went home.

So yea, i'm working tomorrow, Tues, Fri, Sat and Sun.. i both like and dislike that ideaaa, lol. More of disliking it tho, haha. But hey, it's time and a half (pay) on Tuesday cause it's Canada day, yea holiday! Hehe.

I still have to make an awesome entry/review for the song "Georgia" by Hanson. We (Hansonph.net members) have to do a review for each song from the Hanson's album -- The Walk. I chose to do "Georgia" because I like that song and it's.. umm.. nevermind lol.

Not Just A Furniture Store..

I was craving for some meatballs and fries from Ikea since last week. I just don't have any chance to go there. Last Saturday, while at work, talking to Joti (my co-worker)..

ME: I want some meatballs and fries from Ikea.
JOTI: HUUUH? *Giving me a weird look*
ME: Yea, fries and meatballs from Ikea.
JOTI: JOOOOOOOOY! Ikea is a furniture store. Hear me? FURNITURE STOOOORE.
ME: JOOOOTIIIII! THEY HAVE A RESTAURAAAAAANT! THEY ALSO SELL FOOOOOD.. Have you ever been to Ikea? They sell like 50 cents hotdogs and ice cream..
SOMEBODY (not sure if it was Adrian or Rubab): Yea, their hotdogs cost 50 cents and ice cream for a dollar.
JOTI: *silence*

Yea, those who've never been to Ikea, this may sound really strange but I'm telling you their stuff (or at least the meatballs and fries) are really good. Haha. They're really cheap too. Imagine those 50 cents hotdogs, a dollar ice cream cone and a dollar pop. I know some ppl who sometimes go to Ikea just to have dinner.. not to buy any furniture and such :P.

Let me tell you the story of my Ikea experience here in our area. The stepdad and I were at Ikea looking for something then all of a sudden he saw this meatballs poster and asked me if I want some meatballs. I kinda said sure. We both knew that Ikea's food are cheap. We kept on walking looking for the thing we were looking for and ended up at the "restaurant." He asked me again if I want something to eat and I said yes, LOL. He was I think looking for the hotdogs for me but he didn't see it so instead I ordered meatballs and fries kids meal ($1.79 or $1.99 can't really remember). Haha. Then he got some soup thingy. Their restaurant food are still cheap compared to other places. After eating and finding the basket, we headed downstairs to the cashier to pay for it. It was then, we saw those 50 cents hotdogs and some other cheap stuff. Haha. My stepdad got kinda disappointed cause that was the food he was looking for not the ones from the restaurant. He kept on "kinda" complaining about it. He asked me to wait in line and pay for the basket (using his debit of course lol) and he went to the hotdog/icecream/and such area to check them out. After paying he asked me for some change and said he still want to try the hotdogs.. and I told him I wanna try it too, haha. We ended up eating twice :P. I, however, thought that we were really not hungry when we saw the hotdogs because we just had something at their restaurant. We were, I guess, overwhelmed because they're cheap :P. Hahaha.

Edited my Xanga's "theme". I like it. Pretty sweet eh?

School's over in two days. Woohoo.. or not. I dunno, I actually like going to school eventhough it's freakin far. I just don't like the assignments they give us haha. Because this program I am taking is an intensive one, we have tests almost every week and yea loads of homeworks.

I have to start looking for a job now.. a real one! Haha. Something related to my program. I feel kinda overwhelmed thinking about this, though. I pray I'll get a new job right away, heehee. Also, I'm kinda ready and excited to leave Timmies.. not my co-workers.. just the place. Most of my co-workers are awesome!

I am currently listening to Kristian Stanfill's Jesus Paid It All. Awesome song!
